Any resident of the UAE or Dubai with a foreign passport must apply for an Australian Visitor Visa. However, if the resident holds a passport of a country that is visa exempted by Australia, they can travel with an Electronic Travel Authority (ETA).

UAE and Dubai citizens can also visit Australia on an ETA and do not need to apply for a visit visa.

• Return flight ticket or travel itinerary.
• Proof of sufficient funds for stay.
• Health and character documents (if requested).

What does an Australia Visa Cost and Validity

The cost of an Australian Visa is 1450 AED. The visitor visa for Australia is valid for 12 months, with a maximum of three months stay per visit.

The ETA is valid for 12 months allowing multiple entries, with a one-time stay of three months.

The biometrics that you provide are valid for ten years so if you reapply for a visa you do not need to provide your biometrics again.
