• Your original passport: It must be valid for at least 3 months after you plan to leave Romania, issued within the last 10 years, and have at least two blank pages. Copies of all previous visas are often required.
• The completed and signed Visa Application Form.
• Two recent passport-sized photos (3.5cm x 4.5cm, white background, matte or semi-matte finish, no older than 6 months).
• A personal cover letter: Explaining your trip’s purpose, detailed travel plan, duration of stay, and confirming you’ll return to your country of residence.
• A confirmed round-trip flight booking: Showing when you’ll enter and leave Romania.
• Proof of where you’ll stay: Confirmed hotel bookings for your entire stay in Romania. If staying with a host, a formal invitation letter approved by the Romanian Immigration Inspectorate (original and copy), along with a copy of the host’s ID/residence permit.
• Comprehensive Travel Health Insurance: Valid for the entire duration of stay in Romania, with at least €30,000 coverage for medical emergencies, hospital stays, and returning home if needed.
• Proof of funds: Original stamped personal bank statements for the last three to six months, showing sufficient money for your trip.
• For employed: Your last 3 months’ salary slips, a Leave Sanction Certificate (with company seal & signature), and a copy of your Company ID card.
• For self-employed: Business Registration License/MOA/Partnership deed, Company’s updated bank statement for last 6 months, and Company’s tax returns for 3 years.
• For a student: School/College/Institute ID Card and a Bonafide certificate.
• For a minor: Birth Certificate, a notarized No Objection Certificate (NOC) from any parent not traveling, and copies of parents’ passports/ID proof.
• Income Tax Returns (ITR): For the last 3 years.
• Proof of civil status: Such as a marriage certificate, if applicable.
• Proof of ties to your current country of residence: Documents like property ownership, family ties (marriage/birth certificates), or school/college enrollment for dependents. These help show you intend to return.

For Business Visa (Additional): An original invitation letter from the Romanian company (on company letterhead, specifying purpose and duration of stay, and financial responsibility).
